What makes Reconsail different from a regular bookkeeper?
A regular bookkeeper knows debits and credits. We know e-commerce — Amazon fee structures, Shopify payout timing, return-driven COGS adjustments, multi-channel attribution. It's a completely different skill set built for how your business actually works.
Can you clean up messy historical books?
Yes. Many of our clients come to us with 12–24 months of disorganized or inaccurate books. We offer a catch-up bookkeeping service to get everything reconciled before we begin ongoing work.
How long does onboarding take?
Most clients are fully onboarded and have their first month of clean books within 2 weeks. We handle the integration setup, connect to your platforms, and assign your dedicated accountant before the first invoice.
Do you also handle taxes?
Sales tax compliance is included in Growth and Scale plans. Federal and state income tax filing is available as an add-on service, handled by our in-house CPAs who understand e-commerce deductions.
What accounting software do you use?
We work primarily in QuickBooks Online and Xero — the two most common platforms for growing businesses. If you're already on one, we work in your existing account.
